tight, draped in (even the word shines)
ganache. The barely whipped cream
lounges languorously across like
my lost lover’s nude body on
a rumpled dawn bed. Never
before this have I truly
understood bitter-
sweet. Perhaps I
should’ve cut
a larger
piece
