Carrie Bindschadler is an artist and a writer. She holds an MFA in creative writing and pedagogy from Miami University in Ohio. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Puerto del Sol, Cosmonauts Avenue, Swamp Ape Review, and elsewhere. Her story “Tortoise” won first place in the fiction category of the 2017 Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards Competition. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado.
